La bibliothèque E.H. Norman présente une activité de lecture pour enfants « A Few Blocks », mardi le 25 septembre 2012 de 16h30 à 17h30 dans la salle de lecture de la bibliothèque.
Cette fois-ci nous lirons « A Few Blocks », couronné par le premier prix dans la catégorie de livres pour enfants du Prix de la Société Alcuin pour l’excellence de conception graphique de livres au Canada.
Le coucours annuel des Prix pour l’excellence de la conception graphique au Canada de la Société Alcuin est le seul concours national de son genre qui reconnaisse et fasse honneur à la conception graphique au Canada.

The E. H. Norman Library is delighted to present a book reading session for children « A Few Blooks », September 25, 2012 from 16:30 to 17:30 in the Library reading room.
This time we will read « A Few Blocks », the first prize winner of the Alcuin Society Book Design Awards for Excellence in Book Design in Canada in the Children’s Book category.
The Alcuin Society Annual Awards for Excellence in Book Design in Canada is the only national competition of its kind that recognizes and celebrates the art of book design in Canada.

カナダ大使館図書館では、カナダの図書の読書会を定期的に開催しています。大使館に勤務するカナダ人外交官やその家族が、カナダの公用語である英語やフランス語でカナダの様々な図書を通してカナダをご紹介します。図書を読むだけでなく、ビデオを見るなどのアクティビティーを交え、楽しみながら英語やフランス語に親しみ、カナダについての理解を深めていただくことができます。
今回は、アルクイン・ソサイエティ・カナダ・ブック・デザイン賞で子供向け書籍部門一等賞を受賞した作品を取り上げます。アルクイン・ソサイエティ・カナダ・ブック・デザイン賞は、毎年、優れたブック・デザインの図書に贈られる、カナダ国内唯一のブック・デザインに関する賞です。
