« Anne…la maison aux pignons verts »
Anne…la maison aux pignons verts, le roman débordant d’imagination de Lucy Maud Montgomery, se déroule dans le magnifique décor naturel de l’Île-du-Prince-Édouard dans le Canada atlantique. Hanako Muraoka a fait connaître le roman au Japon avec sa fameuse traduction de l’original anglais en 1952, qui connaît un regain de popularité grâce au drame du matin du NHK, « Hanako et Anne ». Le roman bien-aimé ne perd jamais son charme, et l’esprit confiant d’Anne offre une inspiration qui est toujours résonnante dans l’époque moderne.
Pour cette session, nous accueillerons une invitée spéciale, Mme Kate Macdonald, la petite-fille de l’auteur, Lucy Maud Montgomery qui pourra partager son histoire d’Anne…la maison aux pignons verts et de sa grand-mère.
Après la lecture de contes, vous pouvez devenir « Anne » avec un chapeau d’Anne. N’oubliez pas d’apporter votre appareil de photo!

Canadian Book Reading for Children
“Anne of Green Gables”
Anne of Green Gables, the richly imaginative novel by Lucy Maud Montgomery, unfolds in the beautiful natural setting of Prince Edward Island in Eastern Canada. Hanako Muraoka introduced the story to Japan with her famous translation in 1952, which is now enjoying a resurgence in popularity thanks to the NHK morning drama “Hanako to Anne”. This beloved novel has lost none of its charm and the confident spirit of Anne offers inspiration that still resonates in modern times.
For this session, we will welcome special guest Ms. Kate Macdonald, granddaughter of author Lucy Maud Montgomery, who will be able to share her stories about Anne of Green Gables and her grandmother.
After the book reading session, you can become “Anne” with Anne’s hat. Don’t forget to bring your camera!
NB: As this month’s selection is not a picture book, the level may not be suitable for younger participants. Thank you for your understanding.

“Anne of Green Gables”
赤毛のアン
カナダ東海岸に位置するプリンス・エドワード島の美しい自然を舞台にルーシー・モード・モンゴメリが描いた想像力豊かな女の子の物語、「赤毛のアン」。1952年に村岡花子さんの名訳によって日本に紹介され、現在放映中のNHK朝の連続テレビ小説「花子とアン」でその人気の再燃を果たしました。アンの前向きな姿勢は、時代の移り変わりの中でも変わらぬ刺激を与えてくれます。
今回の読書会では、ルーシー・モード・モンゴメリの孫娘であるケイト・マクドナルドさんをスペシャルゲストとしてお迎えし、赤毛のアンや、おばあ様のお話をきかせていただく予定です。
読み聞かせ会の後は、アンの帽子をかぶってアンになりきり、写真をお撮りいただけます。カメラを忘れずにお持ちください。
（注）今回は、絵本ではなく小説の読み聞かせとなりますため、小さなお子様には適さない可能性がございます。 あらかじめご了承ください。
