Minutes of the FLT general meeting of September 23, 2026
Dear Parents, Dear Members,
This year, our General Assembly began in person at the school auditorium on Wednesday, September 23 at 9:00 a.m. and officially concluded when the online voting closed on Thursday, September 24 at 8:00 p.m.
Around forty parents attended the meeting, where we presented our association, as well as its activities and projects, and we would like to thank them for joining us.
The General Assembly was an opportunity for us to present our review of the past year (both financial and activity-related), our projects for 2026-2027, and the candidates for the new Board. Once the presentations were over, we enjoyed a friendly moment together over coffee and pastries provided by the Board members who were present.
The General Assembly also marks the election of the new Board and, therefore, saying goodbye to those who are leaving it to move on to new horizons!
We would therefore like to say goodbye to Virginie Cammas, who has been a member of the FLT Board for four years, serving as a Primary School Council representative as Vice-President, and an active member of the Tombola team. We would like to warmly thank her for her dedication to FLT, and we know that we will still be able to count on her continued support at FLT events!
Charlotte Issoire, who also joined the Board during her first year in Japan, has been involved in several areas, including the Primary School Council, communications, the “Zero Forgotten Clothes” initiative, the Eco-Team, and the school fair (particularly the kimono fashion show). Many thanks you to her, and we wish her all the best with her professional projects in Japan!
A big thank you to Jérémie Lamboley for his commitment during his two years on the Board, particularly with the mentor programme, as well as various events such as the garage sale and school supplies orders! We know that Jérémie will continue to support us even after leaving the Board, and we are very grateful to him for that!
Thank you also to Pauline Bocquillon and Cécile Cottet, who joined the Board last year to get involved in secondary school matters, as well as the school fair and the Tombola!
Thank you all!
The vote was conducted electronically and ended on Thursday, September 24 at 8:00 p.m., officially bringing the General Assembly to a close. All members whose 2026-2027 membership fees were up to date received an email inviting them to vote on:
- the activity report;
- the financial report;
- the candidates for the new Board;
- the unchanged membership fee of JPY 1,000 per year per family.
Thank you all for taking part in the vote, and please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or comments after reading the documents.
Thank you for becoming members and encouraging other families to do the same, in order to support the work of our volunteer parents! We are also always looking for volunteers to help us, so please do not hesitate to get in touch.
You will find the voting results and details below.
