Info FLT: Presentation of the FLT Eco-Team

FLT is pleased to share with its members this communication from the Eco-Team FLT group, which works on sustainable development.

The FLT Eco-Team is a group of parents of LFIT students committed to a global approach to sustainable development and protection of the planet. The group, created last September, is currently made up of nine parents of primary school students, four of whom sit on the school council.

The FLT Eco-Team aims to collaborate with the LFI Tokyo on ecological projects and advise families who wish to become involved in sustainable development. The FLT Eco-Team is a collaborative group that exchanges information, advice and skills. The FLT Eco-Team acts to promote eco-responsible activities and meet climate and environmental challenges. Specifically, the FLT Eco-Team is committed to the following challenges: reducing plastic, avoiding food waste, promoting biodiversity, sustainable food (organic, short-circuit and seasonal), and recycling.

The FLT Eco-Team is part of the EAS-Y GREEN network which brings together groups of parents and students from international schools in Tokyo who are committed to the same global approach of sustainable development and protection of the planet.
