• • Adoption of the minutes of the Primary School Council meeting on 10/13/2023.

  • Enrollment : increase in the number of primary students from 817 to 827 (+10 students).

  • Language programs : PARLE Japanese -2 students (12%). PARLE English +11 (27%), SI Japanese +2 (8%), SI American -4 (20%).

  • National assessments : CP PARLE students scored above average. CE1 SI students have better results, as well as CM1 SI students.

  • School trips : 8 school trip projects have been approved. Maximum amount ranging from 31,000 to 34,000 yen per student.

  • Projects :

    • AEFE/Asia Pacific Zone Project : Dance the Games (collective choreography): 10 participating classes.

    • 10 days without screens (students’ civic journey), 11 participating classes : aims to reduce children’s leisure screen time (other than for homework). Dates : May 21-30. Presentation to the inspector on March 18.

  • Miscellaneous :
    • Mission to LFIT by Mr. Thierry Vial, IEN in residence in Hanoi on March 18.
    • PPMS : earthquake evacuation drill on February 15.
    • 2 MEEF interns in CE2 and CP classes.
    • Beginner Japanese extracurricular activity (2 groups of 10 students) has been implemented for primary school at the request of parents. Positive feedback, the activity should be able to be systematized by the 2024-2025 school year.
  • Calendar 2024-2025 :
    • 1st proposal : start of the school year on September 3, last day of school on July 4, totaling 36 weeks.
    • 2nd proposal : start of the school year on September 2, last day on Monday, June 30, totaling 35 weeks and 1 day.
