Dear parents,

This year, our Annual General Meeting was held in person at the Lycée auditorium on Saturday, September 23, 2022 from 9am to 11am.

Around thirty parents were present for the presentation of our association and its activities and projects, and we’d like to thank them all.

We were delighted to have a word of encouragement (by videoconference from Hong Kong) from our former president Jessica Cosmao. The applause reflected Jessica’s commitment throughout her involvement with the FLT..

Our AGM was an opportunity for us to present the results of the past year (financial and moral) and our plans for 2023-2024, as well as to introduce the new board. The new board includes a number of well known members who are renewing their commitments, as well as a number of newcomers bringing fresh ideas and energy with them!

The AGM marks the vote for the new board and the farewell to those who are leaving after more than 10 years on the Board!

Our warmest thanks go to Vincent for his long and active involvement in the association, to Daphné for leading the Eco Team (and helping the school to obtain the EFE3D level 2 label), to Colombe for leading the catering committee, to Hugo for his time on the Board of Directors and his wise counsel as President of Fapée, Aurélie for her participation (among others) in the working group on inclusive schooling (a mission she continues outside the committee), Simon, a good advisor as always and a very good mediator (and initiator and leader of CAP jeux pré-COVID), and finally Thomas for his involvement.

The vote following the AGM was held remotely. All members up to date with their 2023-24 subscription received an e-mail to vote on:

• the annual report
• the financial report
• the new executive committee
• the new internal bylaws
• the unchanged membership fee (1000 JPY/year/family).

Voting results: 

127 member families as of September 23, 2023 were called to vote.

With a 53% turnout, the moral report, the financial statement, the membership fee, the new internal regulations and the composition of the new board were approved.
